Nesiology is a multi-talented artist and attorney whose work spans books, films, music, and apparel. A cum laude Wiley University graduate and Dallas Cowboys scholarship recipient, she competed nationally with the Great Debaters, the team that inspired The Great Debaters starring Denzel Washington and Forest Whitaker.
Her debut book, Hush, blends her artistic vision and life experiences to inspire readers to embrace self-care, resilience, and personal growth. Through her work, Nesiology combines artistry, law, and inspirational guidance to empower others to reach their fullest potential.
Biography
Steve Downey was born on April 2, 1979, in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, where he spent most of his life. Steve’s life was nothing like a smooth walk. Instead, it was a field of hurdles and hassles; he had to struggle at every step. However, his story reflects reality and truth. It wasn’t as easy as going through a rough patch and still being optimistic. There came a time when Steve’s mindset turned entirely negative. With time, inspirational people and books, he learned and practiced to stay optimistic. It was a journey in itself. From then onward, once he made optimism a part of him, determination and strength took over the wheel, and he forged a path full of hopes and success for himself.
Looking back, he realized how motivational novels and relatable life stories of successful people had helped him become a resilient man today. They became his true friends. Friends who pull you out from the dark side and don’t leave your side until they guide you towards the light. “The Horseshoe” is a result of his experiences. He wrote it to inspire people who are struggling and provide them with hope. Unveil the power of optimism and help them harness it.
Steve was born in Moncton, New Brunswick. He had a small and loving family of four. It was just Steve, his older brother, and his parents living in a beautiful home. His parents were career-oriented people who struggled to provide a comfortable life for their kids. Looking at his father dressed up for work; Steve envisioned himself as a successful person since he was only four years old.
Steve faced a lot of hardships in his life. Even having a near-death experience, he did not let any of those obstacles stop him from moving forward and leading a fulfilling life. Despite all difficulties, he remained focused on his goals and hoped for better days. He worked his way out of every dark fragment of life and emerged as a true warrior in the end. He didn’t allow negativity to take complete control of his mind and made efforts toward the path of optimism. That’s what drove him to success.
